1 lb ground beef
⅔ C shopped onion
2 cans tomato soup
1 pkg (3 oz) cream cheese, diced
2 T sugar
1½ T Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp pepper
1 pkg (6 oz) or 2 C wide egg noodles
1 C crushed corn flakes
¼ C melted butter

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Brown meat. Add onion and cook until tender but not brown. Add soup, cheese, sugar and seasonings. Simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles in salted water; drain. Place noodles in large casserole dish, put sauce over top. Bake for 1 hour.

This recipe was in a church cookbook. It was a favorite while Doug was growing up. We have no idea why it was called by the recipe name. Maybe it was a traditional Saturday casserole?
