¼ C butter or margarine
½ C firmly packed brown sugar
½ C granulated sugar
1 egg
1 T baking powder
¼ t salt
¼ t cinnamon
1 C All Purpose flour
1 T vanilla
1 C coarsely chopped cranberries
½ C finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In medium saucepan, melt butter over moderate heat. Remove from heat. Beat in sugars and vanilla until smooth. Add egg, stir. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in cranberries and walnuts. Grease 9" square pan. Press batter evenly into pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
