16 oz frozen foordhook limas
32 ounce can of Hunts tomatoes
1 t sugar
oil
onion
garlic
green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a small amount of oil, sautés 1 medium/small onion, 1 clove of garlic and 4 strips of ˝" green pepper. Do not brown. Add limas (still frozen) and carefully cook until unfrozen, not mushy. Add can of tomatoes, salt to taste and sugar. Cook covered 1-2 hours as beans soak up the juice.

I always make these at Christmas and everyone loves them, even people who say they hate beans and tomatoes.
