1 package of yeast (2 tsp)
1 cup warm water
2 T sugar
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2 T sortening
2 1/4 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar and egg. Shortening and 1 cup of flour. Beat until smooth. Sit for 10 minutes. Blend in salt. Stir in remaining flour. Cover and let rise until double- 30 minutes. Spoon in batter into greased muffin tin. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake in 400F for 15 minutes
