3 eggs, separated
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
1 1/2 c. white bread, cubed
1 1/2 c. milk
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
3-4 drops Tabasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. In another bowl, beat egg yolks; add rest of ingredients. Fold in egg whites. Pour into an 8"-9" greased dish; put in another pan that is half full of hot water. Bake 1 hour, 15 minutes at 325º. This will not be of dipping consistency, but it will be light and airy like a soufflé.

My best girl friend's (Janis) mother always made this for me when I ate at their home. This is a nice side dish with meat or a green salad. This is good comfort food; or for when you aren't feeling like eating a heavy meal.
