Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 well beaten eggs

1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour

1 tsp vanilla
stir in
2 cups oats
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream and beat together
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 well beaten eggs

Sift together
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
The more you beat, the better they are.

Mix in
1 tsp vanilla

Stir in
2 cups oats
1 package chocolate chips

Bake at 350 for 10-12 min
