3 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
4 teaspoons pure anise extract
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together 3 cups all purpose flour and 2 tsp baking powder. In mixing blow cream 1 cup sugar and 1 cup shortening. Add 3 eggs, 4 tsp pure anise extract and 2 tsp pure vanilla extract and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and mix on low until blended
Roll dough into 2 inch fingers, roll in sesame seeds and bake at 375º for 20 minutes or until browned as desired.
