1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. clear vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. coconut flavor
1/2 cup flaked coconut
2 cups flour
2 T. milk

Directions:
Directions:
1 - Beat butter approximately 30 seconds.
2 - Add all other ingredients except flour and milk.
3 - Beat approximately one minute.
4 - Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time until combined.
5 - Add milk and mix approximately one minute.
6 - Wrap dough in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least one hour.
7 - Let dough come to room temperature.
8 - Roll out dough to desired thickness.
9 - Cut shapes.
10 - Bake at 350 on parchment lined pan approximately 12 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.
11 - Cool completely.

Makes approximately 24 to 30 cookies.
