1 bag of dried Lima beans
1/2 bottle of ketchup
1/2 jar Mrs. Schlorerís Turkey Syrup
2 T. brown sugar
Strips of bacon
Pat of butter

Soak dried beans in water overnight.

In the morning, rinse soaked beans & add new water to just cover the beans.

Cook soaked beans until tender (between 30-60 minutes). Add pat of butter to cut down on foaming. Watch for foam so it doesnít cook over.

Preheat oven to 350ļ.

In baking dish, add cooked beans & cooking water. Drain some water if thereís too much, but usually enough cooks out to be the right amount. Mix beans & water with ketchup & syrup.

Taste & adjust ketchup & syrup to desired color & flavor.

Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Cover beans with bacon strips.

Bake until bacon is browned & beans are bubbly.
