Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of quick cooking grits
1 cup of water
2 1/2 cups of half and half
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of heavy cream
3 tablespoons of mascarpone cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1. To start, bring the half and half and water to a soft boil and then stir in the grits.

2. Reduce the heat to medium and whisk every so often to prevent the grits from sticking or clumping together. Then, cook them until they’re tender and the liquid has evaporated.

Note: if the grits are a little too thick, that’s okay – don’t worry.

3. Add in the butter, heavy cream, and mascarpone cheese and stir until the grits are super creamy.

4. Serve the grits and finish by adding sugar to sweeten.
