18 oz tube refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
**2 cups of your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe can be substituted
8 oz pkg crème cheese
½ cup sugar
1 egg

Cut cookie dough in half

Press ½ the dough (or 1 cup) onto the bottom of a greased 8 x 8 pan or glass dish as the crust

In a mixing bowl, beat creme cheese, sugar and egg until smooth

Spread over crust

Crumble remaining dough (1 cup) over top

Bake @ 350º for 35 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near centre comes out clean

Cool on wire rack, refrigerate leftovers

For the cookie dough substitution, i use the chocolate chip Skor recipe (in this book as well on page 153) ... just don't add in the SKOR bits
