1 1/2 oz White Rum (I prefer Elderberry Rum from the Woodstock Farmers Market)
6 leaves of Mint (I prefer to pick up a plant at the aforementioned Farmers Market)
Soda Water (Diet is fine)
1 oz (2 T) Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz (2 T) Tom Nelson's Simple Syrup

Directions:

Muddle mint sprigs with sugar (or simple syrup) and lime juice.
Fill the glass with ice.
Add rum.
Top with soda water.
Garnish with sprig of mint leaves.
Served with a straw on the back deck of the Lake House, accompanied by Lisa's guacamole, salsa and chips, while Julie lounges in the hot tub.
