3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
4 Tablespoons molasses
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg and molasses and beat well.

Combine the dry ingredients and add to butter mixture.

Once mixture is beaten, form walnut-size balls of dough and dip each in sugar. Place far apart on cookie sheet. Bake 15-18 minutes.

Under-baked - try 12 minutes.
