Brussel sprouts
6 slices bacon

Fry bacon extra crispy, save the grease and don't eat the bacon. Crush bacon once it is cooled and set aside, don't eat the bacon.

Slice brussel sprouts in half. Place them in a large bowl, add a tablespoon or two of the bacon grease and toss the brussel sprouts halves until coated. Sprinkle with sea salt and place on a baking sheet cut side down. Bake at 425º until golden brown.

Remove from oven and use spatula to move brussel sprouts to serving dish. Drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle whatever bacon pieces you haven't eaten onto the maple drizzled brussel sprouts.
