2 Lbs Ground Beef (Fattier is OK 73/27)
2 Lbs Potatoes (Can use frozen shreds / hash browns)
1 Lb Onions
1/2 Lb Rutabaga
1/4 Cup Parsley
Salt
Pepper

4 Cups Flour
1/2 Lb Lard
1 Tsb Salt
1 Cup Cold Water

Directions:
Directions:
Chop Onions and Rutabaga finely (Use food processor or grinder)
Prepare potatoes if necessary (Can use frozen)
Mix Beef, potatoes, onions, rutabaga, parsley, salt and pepper together.

Mix flour, lard and salt in kitchenmaid mixer.
Slowly add in cold water.
Mix until plyable

Separate into tennis ball sized balls (maybe a little smaller)
Roll balls into thin egg shaped sizes.
Place 1 Cup of meat/potato in bad of dough
Lift back and fold to front
Pinchright corner together. Then Pinch 1/3 inch down. Fold over first pinch.
Repeat around entire pasty, creating a sealed pastry
Place on baking sheet with parchment paper on it.

Preheat oven to 425º
Bake for 1 Hour

Enjoy with catsup, gravy or plain(Mom and Lawrys )
