6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 large yellow onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, halved
1 tablespoon Himalayan salt or real salt
1 tub (13 oz.) hot chopped green chili from the frozen section or equivalent (thawed)
1 package (32 oz.) posole (thawed)
Chile en polvo con limon, to individual taste
Lime wedges
Chopped cilantro

Place chicken, onion, garlic, salt, green chile and posole in large crock pot or slow cooker. Cover with water to rim of cooker. Cook on “high” for three hours. Cook on “low” for three hours. Serve and garnish with chile con limon or lime juice and cilantro.
