Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 bag (12 Oz. Bag) Cranberries
1 cup Cranberry Juice (or Orange, or Apple, or even Pomegranate blueberry!)
1 cup Pure Maple Syrup (not Pancake Syrup!)
3 Tablespoons freshly squeezed juice plus zest (I've used an entire lemon, can also use an orange)

INSTRUCTIONS
Wash bag of cranberries under cool water, then dump into a medium saucepan. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir together and turn heat on high until it reaches a boil.

Once it comes to a rolling boil, turn the heat down to medium low and continue cooking over lower heat for about 10 minutes, or until the juice is thick. You don't want every single cranberry to pop open. Some of them should be whole.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Anne Ridgway gave me this recipe; she makes it every Thanksgiving. *Once I added lipton onion soup mix to this recipe and poured it over raw chicken in the crock pot, for a variation of Madeleine's Chicken. Once the chicken was done, I shredded it with a fork.
