loaf of rye bread
1 lb Swiss cheese
1 (12 oz) can Hormel corned beef
1 (27 oz) can of sauerkraut
medium onion, chopped
4 eggs
1 c milk
butter - About 2-3 T, or enough to fry sauerkraut and onion to golden brown

Directions:
Directions:
Drain sauerkraut well, rinse several times, and fry with chopped onion in butter to a golden brown. Butter 9 x 13 casserole dish. Line with rye bread. Put ½ of the swiss cheese over bread. Mix corned beef and fried sauerkraut/onion together and put over bread. Mix eggs and milk together and pour over. Top with remaining Swiss cheese. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.
