1 c sugar
1/2 pint sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
6 egg yolks
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
5 c flour
1 lb oleo

Nut filling
1 lb shelled nuts
1 c sugar
Raisins (optional)
6 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
To make dough:
Mix sugar, sour cream, vanilla, egg yolks.
In a separate bowl, combine baking powder, salt, and flour.
Cut in oleo.
Add egg mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.

To make filling:
Beat egg whites with sugar. Add nuts and raisins.
If it is too stiff to spread, add a little milk.
You may also use all milk, if you want to use white for something else.

To make cookies:
Roll refrigerated dough to 1/2 thick
Cut into squares
Spread nut mixture on each square
Pinch opposite corners on on side together
Bake at 350 for 10 min or until lightly browned
