4 c sugar
1/3 c salt
4 c white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp celery seed
1 Tbsp turmeric
1/3 tsp mustard seed
7 pints sliced cucumbers and as many onions as desired

Directions:
Directions:
Stir all ingredients together until sugar and salt are dissolved.
Pour over pickles.
Let stand 5 days before eating.
Keep in fridge
Keeps 9 months
(Put in large jars)
