Place in buttered glass baking dish:
4 cups sliced apples
sprinkled with:
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup water

Crisp Topping:
with pastry fork blend together::
¾ cup flour
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup very soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
turn crisp mixture over apples.
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
