1 c sugar
1/2 c water
3 eggs separate eggs
1and half c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tea vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
mix sugar and 1/4 c water stir add the well beaten yolks of the egg. Beat. Mix in flour and and baking powder add this mixuture with 1/4 c of water , beat well, after each addition. Beat the vanilla fold in the egg whites (beaten) pour into a pan. Bake 40 minutes at moderate oven 350 degrees. this cake maybe served frosted with powered sugar, or toped with melted bitter chocolate.
