Dough - For bottom of cheese cake pan

Grease 9 X 13 pan

1/4 pound butter (cream)
2 eggs (beaten)
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 jars of pineapple or cherry pie filling

Filling

2 8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Dough:
Mix together 1/4 pound butter, 2 eggs beaten, 1 3/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Roll dough to make a thin crust and cover bottom and about 1/2 inch up side of pan. Cover bottom dough with well drained pineapple or cherry pie filling (2 jars). Remove some of the cherry glaze.

Filling:
Mix together 2 8 oz. cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 4 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and 3 cups of milk.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture. Pour over fruit filling. Pour slowly, this mixture is thin.

Bake for 1 hour.
