3 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup butter
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoons salt
Rind of one lemon
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Do not preheat oven.

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix for 20 minutes. Pour batter into greased, floured tube pan. Put cake in a cold oven and heat to 350 degrees.

Bake for 60-65 minutes.
