¾ cup regular or smoked paprika
¼ cup freshly ground black pepper
¼ cup kosher or coarse sea salt
¼ cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. onion powder
1-2 tsp. cayenne pepper*

* adjust depending on your preference for heat level

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Store in a jar with tight fitting lid in cool, dark pantry.
