1 cup of margarine, room temperature
1 1/3 cups of sugar
2 eggs
3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar
1 tsp of baking soda
pinch of salt

Cinnamon-Sugar Coating:
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

Prepare cinnamon-sugar coating; set aside. Preheat oven to 375ºF. In a large bowl, beat together margarine, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt, beating until blended. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in cinnamon-sugar coating covering completely. Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until golden. Remove cookies from baking sheets; cool on racks. Makes about 80 (2-inch) cookies.
