2 cans of white beans (drained)
2 small cans of tomato sauce
1 lb of small pasta, elbows, shells, ditalini
1 Large garlic clove
1/8 c olive oil
1 c pasta water
Oregano flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil pasta and reserve a cup of water
Heat oil with garlic and discard garlic before
It browns.
Add tomato sauce, half cup of pasta water,
seasoning and beans. Simmer approximately
10 minutes. Add cooked pasta and reserved
water enough til it is a little thicker than soup
or to taste.

This is a quick version.
My Mother cooked dry beans from scratch and
Marinara sauce.
also, red beans because her mother in law
used red kidney beans.
I learned to use white beans from my in laws
and use this quick version.
