1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1 large onion, diced
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sour cream
2 lb round steak, cut into bite size pieces
1 teaspoon salt
2 cup beef stock

1/2 cup flour for beef

Directions:
Directions:
Saute mushrooms and onions in 2 t. of butter..then remove from the pan and toss in slightly floured beef pieces.

Brown with rest of butter.

Add salt, beef stock and simmer, stirring until the beef is done.

Add mushrooms, onions, and sour cream just before serving. Stir till warm thoroughly.

Serve over butter noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Easy and very filling. My mom used some cheap cuts of beef, then tenderized to make this great dinner. She also used beef bouillon when she didn't have stock.
