carrots
celery
potatoes
onion
butternut squash
leeks (optional)
whole cut up chicken with skin
salt
chicken bouillon
small soup noodles (like Orzo) or you could use rice

Directions:
Directions:
Put the cut up chicken in a large pot. Add as much celery, carrots, onion, potato and cut up squash as you like.

Add salt.

Add water until all chicken and vegetables are under water.

Bring to boil and then reduce the heat to low and cook until all is cooked and tender, about 1 hours 15 minutes.

If the broth is too watery, add some chicken bouillon.

To make soup, place some of the broth into a smaller pan. Put some small noodles like Orzo or you could use rice and cook till tender. Scoop some broth into soup bowls and then add the cooked cut up veggies and shredded chicken into the soup bowl to make a filling chicken soup.
