1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar (or sweet pickle juice)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup ketchup

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sized saucepan/pot, bring all ingredients to a soft boil.

In a mixing cup add 2 tbsp. corn starch to about 1/4 cup water to form a smooth paste.

Add the cornstarch mixture slowly to the saucepan mixture.

The sauce will thicken as you stir in the corn starch mixture.

Add your pre-cooked meatballs or other meat pieces for a tangy delight....serve with rice and a salad.

This sauce recipe has been passed down through 3 generations in our family. We usually make it for meatballs but it can beused wirh other cooked meats as well...enjoy.
