3 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1½ teaspoons vanilla
24 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1½ cups chopped nuts
Saltine crackers

Directions:
Line 18x12" Jelly roll pan with foil. Coat the foil with Pam or butter. Cover the foil completely with a single layer of saltine crackers.

In a 3 quart sauce pan melt butter and stir in sugar until dissolved. Bring to a rolling boil and let cook without stirring for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Carefully pour evenly over crackers. Place pan in a preheated 350º oven for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly. When chocolate begins to melt spread evenly and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Allow to cool, then refrigerate 1 hour. Take out and cut or break in pieces.
