1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F, grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.
In a large saucepan,melt butter. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, be careful not to overcook. Insert a toothpick and make sure it comes out clean.
