Hard boiled eggs
Mayonnaise
Dash of mustard (to taste)
Sweet pickle relish (to taste)
Dash of dill weed
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Paprika to sprinkle on top

Directions:
Hard boil the eggs. Shell them and cut them in half, reserving the whites. Add the cooked yolks with other ingredients and mix well. Fill the whites with the egg mixture and sprinkle with paprika for color.

This was a staple at every holiday meal. We all know the right "taste" and have to go by that, since Gram never gave us any actual measurements.
