Ingredients:  
1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese
1/3 cup milk
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp spiced salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
Crisp toast triangles or crackers

Directions:
Directions:
1. Shred cheese or cut into small cubes.
2. Melt in a double boiler, over simmering water.
3. As cheese begins to melt, at milk gradually, stirring constantly. Add seasonings and blend.
4. Add beaten egg and continue to stir until mixture is smooth and thickened.
5. Serve at once on crisp hot toast triangles or on toasted crackers. This will make 5-6 servings.
