Ingredients: 1 cup butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda Pinch of salt 2 cups + 2 tbsp flour 1 cup chopped walnuts (usually omitted) 12 1/2 oz chocolate chips, about 2 cups or a 350 g package

Directions:1. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars. 2. Beat in the vanilla and eggs, then the baking soda and flour. 3. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Mix thoroughly. 4. Drop dough by cookie scoop on to well-buttered or parchment lined cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 350F for 12-15 minutes. These cookies freeze well. |
