1 egg, beaten
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup Italian bread crumbs or finely crushed saltine crackers (about 28)
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed (omit if using Italian bread crumbs)
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. When oven is preheated, melt butter in glass baking dish. In small bowl combine egg and milk. For coating mixture, place crushed crackers and thyme or Italian bread crumbs in shallow dish or brown paper lunch bag. Rinse chicken, pat dry. Dip chicken into egg mixture; coat with crumb mixture. Place
chicken in baking dish and drizzle chicken pieces with melted butter. Bake at 375 degrees 45 to 55 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink.

NOTE: Do not turn chicken pieces while baking.
