For base:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour

For filling:
20 oz can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup sugar
4 tsp cornstarch
3 tsp butter
2 egg yolks

For topping:
2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup coconut (or crushed cornflakes make be substituted)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Rub together the base layer and place in 9 x 13 inch dish and bake at 350 F for 15 mins.
2. In a saucepan, cook filling ingredients over medium heat until thick, and then pour over base layer.
3. Next, combine topping, place on top of other layers and bake at 350 F for another 15 mins.
