2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sour milk (To make sour milk, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to 1/2 cup whole milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas
1 cup crushed walnuts (For top of cake)
2 eggs unbeaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar. Add 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 3/4 teaspoon salt.
Add 1/4 cup sour milk and 1 cup mashed bananas. Mix until flour is dampened.
Beat for 2 minutes, add 2 eggs, vanilla and remaining sour milk. Beat for 1 minute.
Pour into 9 inch cake pans.
Bake for 25 minutes or until done.
