1 Cup Shortening
¾ Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Almond Extract
2½ Shifted All-Purpose Flour
¼ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
Green Food Coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar well.

Beat in egg and almond extract. Gradually blend in dry ingredients which has been shifted together. Tint dough with the green food coloring. Start light and add a little at a time. Remember you can always add but not take away!

Fill Cookie press. Form trees, about a quarter turn for each tree.

Decorate trees with sprinkles.

Bake 375º for 10 - 12 minutes.
