Apple Pie Recipe

two pie crusts ( I use purchased ones)
8 C thinly sliced peeled apples
1 C sugar
2 Tbl. flour
1 tsp. cinammoln
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbl. lemoln juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425.
Separate the sliced apples into 2 bowls.
Pour 1/2 Tbl lemon juice into each bowl.

Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt.
Stir 1/2 of this into each bowl.

Pat 1 crust into deep dish pie plate.
Spoon the apples into plate
Top with second crust and flute.
Cut slits in top . Put tin foil around the edge of the crust to keep from burning.

Bake at 425 for 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove foil after about 35 mjnutes.

Beware of spillage. Might want to have cookie sheet on shelf under pie.
