3 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 T. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/4 c. chopped nuts
2 c. chopped, fresh strawberries, or if frozen thaw & drain
1 1/4 c. oil or melted butter

Grease 2 loaf pans. Mix together dry ingredients. Make a well in the center. Stir in the last 4 ingredients gently, just enough to moisten. Bake 60-70 minutes at 350º.

I made 1/2 recipe for 12 muffins. I baked them for 35 minutes.This dessert bread is very yummy. It can be served as a breakfast bread with butter. This recipe was handed down from Great Aunt Minnie V Charles Baker.
