2 T Unsalted Butter
½ c finely chopped onion
Lawry’s seasoned salt
Garlic powder
1 cup Uncle Ben's Original Rice
2 ¼ c chicken broth
¼ c Sliced Almonds
⅓ c golden raisins

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan add onions. Sprinkle Lawry’s Seasoned Salt and garlic powder to taste. Cook onions until softened. Add rice and stir to coat. Add the broth and bring to a boil. Add the raisins. Cover and simmer for about 20 min. until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Turn of the stove and add the sliced almonds. Stir to blend the nuts with the rice.

This rice goes really well with my Cornish Hen recipe and my Leg of Lamb.
*To cook this dish for 12 or more people cook 3c of rice with 6c of broth and triple all of the other ingredients.
