1 1/2 cups cake flour
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup shortening
1 cup buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
350 degree oven. Put dry ingredients in bowl, cut in shortening. Add milk and vanilla, beat 2 minutes at low speed. Add eggs, one at a time, beat 2 min more. Pour in greased loaf pan and bake 45-60 minutes.
