1/2 c (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c Cane sugar
3/4 c brown sugar, packed
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 c dark chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º F
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper

Cream butter in a medium bowl
Add sugar and brown sugar, beat to combine
Add vanilla extract and eggs, beat until combined
Add flour, salt and baking soda, beat until just combined

Use a spoon or spatula to fold in chocolate chips
Use a cookie scoop to portion out dough
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
Carefully pull parchment paper (with cooked cookies on it) off of the tray and onto the counter, allow to cool
