6 TBS cold butter
1 cup flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
2½ tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup + 1 TBS half-and-half
Egg wash (egg white with a little bit of water mixed into it)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400º.
2. Measure flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into large mixing bowl.
3. Cut in butter using a pastry blender, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Using a wooden spoon, stir 1 egg, dried fruit, and half-and-half until dough leaves side of bowl.
5. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Knead dough slightly 10 times.
6. Pat dough into a circle 1/2” thick.
7. Using a sharp knife cut dough into triangles.
8. Place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Brush with eeg wash. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar from shaker.
9. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
10. Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Split scones and spread with butter if desired.
