1 C butter, softened
1 C brown sugar, packed
½ C granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 T vanilla extract
2¾ C all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp coarse sea salt
12 oz pkg miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
11 oz pkg caramel bits

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chips and caramel bits. Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then transfer to wire cooling racks. Makes about 4 dozen.
