5 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
2 sticks butter

1½ Tablespoons vanilla
2 Tablespoons Kalua
5 cups good semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar marshmallow cream
4 cups of chopped pecans or walnuts.

Directions:
Directions:
In a large heavy pan combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter. bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, cook for 8 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, Kalua, chocolate chips and marshmallow cream until well blended. Then stir in nuts and pour into a 9x14 buttered dish.

I made this every year at Christmas and it was a huge hit. The recipe came around because I started making fudge and and didn't have what the recipe called for. The Kalua just adds to the chocolate flavor.
