2½ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
¾ stick butter, melted and cooled
1½ cups brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine flour and baking soda and set aside. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar and mix well. stir in egg and vanilla until well blended. Add flour mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by spoonful (about ¼ cup of cookie dough) onto greased cookie sheet leaviing about 1½ inches between cookies. Bake for 10 to 10 minutes (edges will harden slightly and center soft).
