1/2 cup sugar
2 tbls butter
2 tbls water
2 cups chocolate chips
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, butter, and water in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir on 1 cup of chips. Stir in eggs and vanilla until blended. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to chocolate mixture. Stir in the remaining chips and nuts. Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely and cut into bars.
