Ingredients:
Crust
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup milk

Filling
Apricot Preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and make into a soft dough. Use enough of this dough to roll into a circle with a rolling pin, about the size of a saucer. Put some of the apricot filling on only 1/2 of the circle of dough. Now fold the other half over to cover the apricot filling. When you turn the 1/2 of the dough over mash the dough down around edges or the fruit will spill out. Fry using crisco until brown then turn turn over and cook the other side until brown.
